Who Are We?

Range 51 TTF (Private) is a safe place for Local Law Enforcement, Military, Veterans, Civilians and other Organizations to train. Our goal is to get you better trained, more confident, and to feel a lot safer in the world out there. "Through training brings excellence!" We offer everyone a chance to learn from some of the best and most qualified instructors in the area. Our backgrounds extend from U.S. Army Special Forces, Navy SEALs, Law Enforcement, and other technical backgrounds.

Krup

Founder and Principal

SFC Krup is a 24 Year US Army veteran. Entered in the US. Army 1990 as a 19D "Cavalry Scout." Graduated basic from FT Knox KY. I spent most of my regular Army career in Germany. I had a higher calling so I went into  Special Forces Program. I graduated the Q-course in 2003 and was stationed and served with 2nd Battalion 5th Special Forces group at Ft Campbell, KY.

SFC Krup has vast combat experience from multiple deployments in the US Army during operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm including deployments to Kosovo, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain - with 5 combat deployments to Iraq with 5th Special Forces.  Kosovo, OIF I,II, III, V, and VI.  

Units Served with: Troop B 1/11 ACR (Germany), Troop I 3/3 ACR, 1/4 Infantry (Germany), 1st Infantry Division BRT (Germany) 1-63 Armor 1st Infantry Division, Special Forces Training Center, 2nd Battalion 5th Special Forces Group Ft Campbell KY,

Willy 

Willy's roots come from North Carolina. He joined the military and entered the United States Marine Corps in 2004. After deploying to Fallujah Iraq he transferred to the Untied States Navy to go to the BUD/S Program. Willy's graduated Class 265. He spent the majority of his career on SEAL Team 2 with deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia and Uganda primarily as a sniper and FID. In 2014 he transferred to TRADET SOUC teaching CQC, Urban Recce, and SUT to East Coast SEAL Teams. Willy retired in 2017 and spends time fishing or the range helping local veterans.

Jack

Jack was first introduced to Western Boxing in 2014 and developed a passion for combat sports. Over the past 11 years, he has trained in multiple disciplines including boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, MMA, and Brazilian Jujitsu. Notable coaches have included Bellator Fighter Kelly, "Crossface" Anundson and Professional Boxer Mark "Hurricane" Hale. Since 2022, he has trained at Boone docks MMA under Brazilian Jujitsu Black Belt  and APEX Defense Instructor, Spencer Reeves with a heavy emphasis on grappling and weapons combatives. Jack is also a highly proficient shooter winning the 2023 Chuck Heavy Gunfighter Challenge and has competed extensive shooting courses and qualifications. With thousands of hours on the mats and on the range, he realized there was a divide between fighters and shooters. It is now his goal to bring a more comprehensive approach to self defense utilizing all tools including situational awareness, verbal, hand to hand, and weapons tactics.
